Keyword proximity refers to the closeness between the same types of keywords. Your keywords should be closed to each other in the content of the web page but not stuffed.

Example of keyword proximity

SEO tutorial helps you learn about the concept quickly. This tutorial is made by indnustry experts. SEO is an important skill to get the website ranked.

In the above written sentence the keyword is "SEO Tutorial". The keyword is made by two words "SEO" and "Tutorial". The keyword once used in the starting of sentence. Then the words "tutorial" and "seo" were used seperatly and in the close proximity.

Another Example of “Keyword Proximity”: Keeping your keywords close to each other helps to increase proximity. Here you can see that I am using the keyword (Actually key phrase) “Keyword Proximity” in isolated form. Distance between “Keyword” and “Proximity” should be less to make proximity higher. Using your keywords again and again in content is not a good practice. It is called “Keyword Stuffing”. That’s why we should use the main keyword in its original form and in isolated form too.
